PhoenixBlessing® Instructor Certification — Registration Terms

Version pbt-2026-11-v2 · September 16, 2026

1. What you are registering for

The PhoenixBlessing® Instructor (PBT) certification course, taught live online by Hiroyuki Miyazaki over four consecutive days, November 16–19, 2026, approximately three hours per session. The course is delivered on Zoom. Joining details are sent by email after registration.

2. Eligibility — PBP certification required

This course is open only to people who hold a current PhoenixBlessing® Practitioner certification at the time of registration. PhoenixBlessing verifies eligibility after registration. If you do not hold a current Practitioner certification, your registration is cancelled and refunded in full.

3. What certification requires

Three things, all required:

  • Attendance. You attend all four sessions. If something comes up and you cannot make one, tell us — we will work out how to catch you up rather than leave you behind.

  • Demonstrated readiness to teach. You show, during the course, that you can deliver the PhoenixBlessing® method as taught. Almost everyone who attends fully and engages in good faith is ready by the end. If we have any concern, we will raise it with you during the course rather than after it, so you always have the chance to address it.

  • A signed Instructor Agreement. Teaching PhoenixBlessing® is carried out under licence. Your instructor certification is issued only after the PhoenixBlessing® Instructor Agreement is signed and on file. Your registration confirmation email contains the link to start that process. If the agreement is not signed, no instructor certification is issued — attending the course alone does not grant the right to teach.

The Instructor Agreement governs everything you do as an instructor: the use of the marks, pricing, student reporting, conduct, and fees. Read it before you sign. It is a separate document from these terms, and where the two differ, the Agreement governs.

4. How we work together during the course

This is an intensive, and it works because everyone is doing the same work at the same time. You are also training to lead this room yourself one day, so how you participate is part of the training. For the duration of the course, you agree that:

  • You will work within the PhoenixBlessing® method. Most instructor candidates arrive trained in other modalities, and that experience is welcome in your own practice. During these four days we stay with one method. Please do not introduce, demonstrate, teach, or ask other participants about other techniques during sessions or breakout rooms. This is not a judgment of other methods — each deserves its own time and undivided attention, and so does this one.

  • You will come with an open mind. You are not required to agree with everything or to have any particular experience. You are asked to engage with the material as taught before evaluating it.

  • You will be considerate of your fellow participants. You will practice on one another, and everyone in the room is still learning. What you say immediately after a practice carries real weight. Offer your response kindly. If you have criticism of the method itself, bring it to the instructor directly rather than to the group — that conversation is genuinely welcome, in the right place.

  • You will not promote your own practice, services, or training programs to fellow participants during the course.

How you teach PhoenixBlessing® after certification — including method fidelity and conduct with your own students — is governed by the Instructor Agreement, not by this section.

5. If something isn't working

If your conduct is affecting other participants' experience, we will raise it with you privately first, and early.

If it continues after that conversation, we may ask you to withdraw. In that case you may transfer to a future cohort or receive a refund of the unused portion of the course, whichever you prefer.

In cases of serious breach — breaking confidentiality, harassment of another participant, or recording sessions without permission — we may end your participation immediately and without refund.

6. What the certification allows

Once certified and under a signed Agreement, you may teach the PhoenixBlessing® Practitioner course, issue Practitioner certificates to your students through the PhoenixBlessing Portal, and identify yourself as a PhoenixBlessing Certified Instructor™ under the terms of the Agreement.

7. Validity

Your instructor certification is valid for four years, through November 30, 2030. See “Keeping your certification active” for what happens after that.

8. Program waiver

PhoenixBlessing is an educational and spiritual practice. It is not medical, psychological, or clinical care, and it is not a substitute for professional treatment. Nothing taught in this course is a diagnosis or a treatment for any condition. You are responsible for your own wellbeing during and after the course, and you are encouraged to seek qualified professional support if you need it. By registering you agree to the PhoenixBlessing Public Program Waiver.

9. Recording and confidentiality

Sessions may be recorded by us, and recordings are made available to participants. Participants may not make their own recordings, screenshots, or transcripts of any session. Participants share personal material during exercises — do not repeat or share anything another participant discloses.

10. Refunds

  • Full refund up to seven days before the first session — on or before November 9, 2026.

  • Within seven days of the first session, your place is transferable to a future PhoenixBlessing Instructor cohort but is not refundable.

  • Full refund if PhoenixBlessing cancels the course.

  • Full refund if you are found ineligible under section 2.

11. Course materials

The PhoenixBlessing® Practitioner Course Manual, slides, and supporting materials are licensed to you for your own study and for teaching under a signed Instructor Agreement. They may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or adapted. © Ascent Leadership Institute Inc.

12. Ongoing fees

Instructors are subject to the fees set out in the Supporting Documents referenced in the Instructor Agreement. The course fee paid here covers the training only.

13. Communications

Registering adds you to PhoenixBlessing email updates about this course and related programs. You can unsubscribe at any time.

14. Governing law
